RUBBER TRACK INSTALLATION & UN-INSTALLTION
"REMOVE & REPLACE"
|
PLEASE CONSULT YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL FOR SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR MAKE & MODEL
REMOVE TRACK:
1. Lift the side of the machine where the track is to be replaced. Do not forget to support the machine.
2. Release the tension by opening the grease port on the tensioner and press down on the track until the tensioner is all the way in.
3. There should be enough slack at this point where you can remove the track.
4. Remove old track.
REPLACE TRACK:
1. Put new track on the wheel sprocket and rollers and then over the tensioner.
2. Once on, using a grease gun, pump grease in until the track tightens- you want to have 2 to 3 inches of sag from the center of the track frame.
3. After track is on, turn machine on and rotate track several revolutions then check the sag again- adjust sag accordingly.
4. Lower machine and you are ready to go back to work.
